Let’s connect and Mom’s through gentle movement and mindfulness. Being a Mom is a balancing act and being a present Mom takes practice, forgiveness and community.

Guided Autobiography* (“GAB”) is a researched and developed process of writing and sharing life stories. Instead of documenting chronologically, participants write 1,000 words (about two pages) at home on an instructor-provided theme before sharing it aloud in class. No writing experience is necessary.

Rather than approach your story chronologically, Guided Autobiography explores universal life themes such as family, health, and “branching points,” or times in life where major change occurred, whether chosen (college, marriage, etc.) or not (natural disasters, health crisis, etc).

GAB can be a powerful catalyst for improved self-esteem, self-confidence and communication within communities and within families.

Some of the benefit of GAB include:
Increased self-acceptance
Decreased anxiety and tension
Increased energy and vigor
Increased positive view of others
A feeling of connectedness and friendship

This 8 week course led by GAB facilitator Tara Slater is happening on Tuesdays from 6:30-8:30 and has a course fee of $300.
